Sometimes in my life, although being with a group of people, I feel alone and left out. At that time, I feel that I should be in some other time zone. In our daily life, there always comes a time where we wish to be present at sometime else with different people. That time doesn’t mostly suit us. So here, I brought you the list of “The Best Songs about Time” to enjoy and get yourself traveled into different time zone with the song. So plug in your earphone or headphones whatever you have, and get transported to a different time zone.

“Remember the Time” by Michael Jackson

The narrator in this song is trying to take us back to the time in his story where he fell in love with a girl when both of them were young and innocent. This is song is the same as Jackson’s earlier song – Terrific!!! He invites us to the part of his life where he shared his story between him and his girl. So while listening to this song, you are going to get moved to back into the time for really a long time. And by a long time, I mean, this song is more than 9 mins long. We have to finish our work in this world before the time comes. This song was also featured in the movie ‘Friends with Benefits.’

Here the narrator is trying to explain that the time for the bar to close has come near. People inside have to go out and look for somewhere else. They have to hurry cause this bar won’t wait for long till their relatives come and take them. So be ready, wear the jacket and move to the exit. The narrator also is positive about they must have made friends from the bar to whom they can talk. So he asks to go with them. And in the final words, Wilson mentions that tonight isn’t the end, Tomorrow will be the new beginning. So Closing time now, Will open tomorrow.

There comes a time in everybody’s life when we feel that we are left out of this world. We just want to be somewhere else in that moment and want to enjoy it. They are telling that the time has come when they don’t care about what others say about them and are past that feeling. They don’t feel the pain of someone leaving as the tears in their eyes are dried out. While listening to the song, we can totally relate it with our lifes’ hard times.

Well, this song is quite different from the others in the list of “Songs about Time”. Here the narrator is telling us about how he wants a girl to take her time to recognize him and talk to him. Sam fell in love with her from the very first time he saw her even though she didn’t notice her. The narrator knows a lot about her and doesn’t want her to get scared with this behavior as everyone in society knew her name. He just wants to be with her so that they could spend their life together happily.

Song written by Robert Hyman / Cyndi Lauper that was released in 1983 is about a person who got lost in the same time loop. The narrator shared everything he does while being alone. He is looking at the clock ticking and waiting for the time to pass but, it’s got stuck. He is getting confused and flashbacks from the memories that he left out.

The narrator here gives the idea of how time is changing here on earth and in order to face the changing times, we need to learn to stand up against them.
